ITBP Recruitment 2022 Written Exam Pattern
- The Candidates who qualify in Physical Standard Test (PST) will be required to undergo Written Exam.
- The Written Exam carrying 50 Marks will consist of Objective type MCQ.
- However, Pattern of Written test i.e. OMR / CBT Mode.
- The Pattern of Question Paper of Written Exam will be as under:

ITBP Constable Tradesman Recruitment 2022 Trade Test
- Candidates, who qualified the written exam, to the tune of 10 times category wise vacancies will be called for Trade Test.
- Each candidate will be allowed to appear for One Trade Test Only as applied in the Online Form.
- This trade test will carry 50 marks and qualifying marks shall be 50% for all categories.
- However, the trade test will be qualifying in nature only and the criteria of trade test is as under:

ITBP Constable Tradesman Syllabus 2022
General Awareness / General knowledge :
- Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidates general awareness of the environment around him. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person.
- The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, scientific Research etc. These Questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.
Knowledge of elementary Mathematics:
- This paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.
Analytical aptitude and ability to observe and distinguish patterns:
- It will include the question of both verbal and non-verbal type. Question will be asked from analogies, similarities and and differences, problem solving, relationship, arithmetical computation and other analytical functions, Venn diagrams, relationship concepts and Ability to observe and distinguish patterns etc.
To test the basic knowledge of the candidates in English / Hindi:
- Mainly Focus on the topics like Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Error, Sentence correction, fill in the blanks, Comprehension & Cloze Test etc.
ITBP Recruitment 2022 Qualification Details
Constable (Tailor, Gardener & Cobbler):
- 10th class pass from recognized Board;
- Two years’ work experience on respective trade; OR
- One-year certificate from industrial training Institute / Vocational Institute with at least one-year experience in respective trade; OR
- Two years’ diploma from Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in the trade
Constable (Safai Karamchari, Washerman & Barber):
- Matriculation or 10 Class pass from a recognized Board or Institute.
